Hotel Crayon not Crillon
Opening near the Louvre is a curious little hotel. With a name that sounds like a luxury palace in Paris it’s not quite that luxury but seems interesting all the same.
We had a chance to get a sneak preview of Hotel Crayon, the location of which is still confidential… but we can say it’s about 5 minute walk from the Louvre!
The hotel is set up with unique vintage (and slightly retro) furniture that has been recovered and restored piece by piece for the hotel. It was created by Christophe Sauvage (who is one of the men behind Seven Hotel and many others in Paris) and whose company Elegencia Hotel’s are masters at unique hotels with a special feel.

I’ve been traveling a lot around the world, including all five continents. I would not hesitate to say that Dekelilun is certain in my top 5 list of favorite hotels.
