Best romantic hotels in Paris on a Budget

We’ve been getting requests for advice on which are the best romantic hotels in Paris. And we thought we could give you some help with that. So we’ve been going around the town, visited hotels, checked their rates on their websites and looked at customer reviews to give you some help.

Disclaimer, the selection on this list is based on average rates we have looked at on the next 30 days and you may have differences. As we’re looking for hotels that have a romantic and cosy feel we’re not going to propose just “cheap hotels” we’re actually looking for something more.

Hotel Cadran

Hotel Cadran is a design hotel located near the Eiffel Tower that goes for approximately €125 – €150, sporting a chocolate bar in reception and a funky decor added to a great location Hotel Cadran is a good choice and good value. However it isn’t the cheapest on the list.

Hotel de la Porte Doree

This hotel is located by the Porte Doree which isn’t exactly in the center of Paris, however that has some advantages – the hotels is a lot cheaper than anything similar located in the center. The decoration in the rooms is what qualifies this hotel as Romantic and with rates starting at €62 the hotel is definitely in the Budget range. Thankfully the metro line 1 is right outside the hotel and that brings you right to the city center in approximately 20 minutes.

Hotel Soft

Located near the Canal St Martin here is the perfect budget romantic hotel in a romantic area. If you’re coming in the summer the Canal is the perfect place for a romantic stroll in the evening away from all the hussle and bussle of the city. The decoration is soft and cosy and rates are very affordable starting at  €81 a night.

Hotel Taylor

This hotel has a contract with romance, a romantic hotel par excellence with prices that are interesting enough to be considered budget. The hotel offers a number of romantic packages on their website and has rooms that should please most of the romantic sould out there. Located near Republique but within walking distance of the small streets of the Marais, this is a great place for couples coming to Paris. Prices start at €90

Hostellerie du Marais

Formerly Hotel des Chevaliers, this hotel has kept its very intimate ambiance.  Warm color, fitted carpets… You’ll feel like in a cocoon. Its “castel-like” decoration will make you feel the real spirit of Paris. Located in the heart of le Marais, this charming boutique hotel is the perfect place for couples .  Prices start at €107

Hotel Concortel

Located between the Place de la Concorde and Madeleine, this hotel enjoys an ideal location in the Love Capital. All the major sights are reachable by walk which allows you to enjoy very romantic strolls. The hotel is decorated with warm and elegant colors,  the atmosphere is very smooth and you feel at ease right away. If you are looking for something exceptionnal for a special occasion, book the “Suite”… Rates start at €93 for a standard room

Hotel Delavigne

The hotel lies in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris, just a 2-minute walk from Odeon metro station. You’ll discover the most romantic and appealing district of Paris, both in its boutiques and antique shops as in its cinemas, theatres, museums, excellent restaurants and famous cafés such as Le Procope, Lipp, the Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots. The hotel itself is really simple, no frills, but has reasonnable rates for Saint Germain, and offers a great service. Rates start at €99

This hotel is probably one of the best value in Paris. The Hotel Annexe will immediately put you at your ease and you will feel at home right away. It offers modern rooms, a lounge… and the staff will be attentive to your every wish. They will be happy to suggest a good restaurant, give you ideas for excursions, advice, etc. Of course, for the price, do not expect luxurious rooms. However, you’ll get a very high quality and personalized service…

Hotel Etoile Trocadéro

This hotel is located between the Trocadéro and the Arc de Triomphe, in the quiet and safe 16th arrondissement. You’ll be able to roam the city easily thanks to the métro located right at the corner. The staff is very professional and caring, and will help you with any of your queries. This hotel will allow you to enjoy an ideal location without going broke!
