Excellent value boutique hotel in elegant Paris quarter

Submitted by on May 10, 2012 – 1:39 pmNo Comment

Situated in the upmarket and elegant Wagramdistrict, not far from the Arc de Triomphe, the MonceauPark, Champs Elysees and the business center of Palais des Congres, the 3-star Hotel Champerret-Elysees is a cute independent Parisboutique hotel. The hotel is known for its great services and friendly staff, but also for its very attractive prices. The hotel is not in the very center of Paris, but the location is quite central and transportation is very convenient. Those who’d rather stay in a quiet neighborhood, instead of the noisy and sometimes vulgar tourist central, the location is just perfect. There is a metro stop right outside the hotel – Porte de Champerret – and another few metro and RER stations within few minutes of walk. Tree-lined wide boulevards and avenues criss-cross the quarter, there are many classy restaurant but also cheaper buffets and cafés, and shops of all kind. It is a great base to explore the sights, monuments and museums of Paris, but the hotel is also ideal for business visitors as it is near Congress Palace and the Défense business district.

The hotel itself is one of those little secrets of Paris, a gem of a boutique hotel. It is classic in style, providing an elegant and cosy atmosphere. A peaceful lounge opens from the reception area, offering a comfortable place to relax. There is also a little bar for those who would like to meet other travelers or have a quiet drink by themselves. The staff, both at the reception and in the bar, is extremely friendly and helpful – service is one of the strengths of Hotel Champerret-Elysees. Services – apart from the expected elevator, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, telephone, TV and so on – also include some extras, such as baby sitting, laundry service, games and film hire. The hotel also has rooms accessible to people with disabilities, a well-equipped business center and an excursion desk to help visitors organize tours, theatres and restaurants. The rooms are simple yet elegant and classy, and very homely. Decorated with warm and soft colors, they provide comfort, peace and quiet for guests.

Although Hotel Champerret-Elysees is a 3-star establishment, it offers rooms for as low as Paris budget hotels do, but the services and amenities are of a high class hotel. If you don’t mind using the metro to get around the city, in exchange you’ll get an elegant, peaceful location and excellent value for your money.
