Stunning new designer hotel in the Marais-Bastille district of Paris
There was a little cute boutique hotel in the Marais-Bastille area known as Hotel Lyon Mulhouse – the hotel has just undergone a total transformation and reopned its doors under the new name, Hotel Original. The location, obviously, hasn’t changed, it is still a great spot a couple of minutes from the historic quarter around Place desVosgesin the Marais and also from the eclectic, vibrant and colorful Place de la Bastille. From the outside the hotel hasn’t changed that much either. What has changed, and in a striking way, is the interior.
The intention was to create a world of fantasy and poetry, and it was created by famous French designer Stella Cadente. The atmosphere is truly unique, unconventional. Each room has its own individual style, built around the themes ofAlicein Wonderland, a mermaid paradise or a magic forest. The atmosphere is stunning, extravagant and chic, and the amenities are simply luxurious.
The hotel was known for its excellent service and friendly staff, but with the new contemporary designer look it has reached a different level. There aren’t manyParisboutique hotels that can compete with the unique designer style, Hotel Original is surely one of its kind.
