Budget hotel near Rue Mouffetard in Latin Quarter

Submitted by on May 3, 2012 – 8:22 pmNo Comment

If budget matters but you don’t want to be out in the suburbs, a great choice is Grand Hotel Jeanne D’Arc on the Left Bank of Paris. Located in the 13th district near the Seine and Ile Saint-Louis, lively Rue Mouffetard, the Sorbonne University, the Pantheon and other top attractions, the hotel is ideal as a base to explore a big chunk of Paris on foot, and for the rest there is the metro. There are four metro stops within a few minutes walk from the hotel, and a little further at the Austerlitz Station there is also a RER line. It’s a lively area on its own right, and great food and entertainment are never far.

The hotel is quite simple as far as décor is concerned, it is definitely not one of those trendy designer hotels, but for those who only want a decent room, it is perfect. Rooms are quite spacious with Parisian standards, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are flat screen TVs in the rooms, as well as a lift in the building and free internet for guests at the reception – for a budget hotel it is very well equipped indeed.

And it all comes at a great price: at Grand Hotel Jeanne D’Arc you’ll get value for your money.
