As from today, there are five weeks of shopping bonanza across Paris and France! Huge discounts, great bargains, shop till you drop!
The official dates of the 2012 Winter and Summer Sales have been announced by the General Directorate of Consumption, observed by most boutiques, department stores, shops and retailers.
- The 2012 winter sales are from January 11 to February 14.
- The 2012 summer sales are from June 27 to July 31.
Note there are 12 exceptions to these dates, as listed here:
- Moselle (from January 2 to February 5, 2012)
- Meurthe-et-Moselle (from January 2 to February 5, 2012)
- Vosges (from January 2 to February 5, 2012)
- Meuse (from January 2 to February 5, 2012)
- Pyrenees-Atlantiques (January 4 to February 7, 2012)
- Landes (January 4 to February 7, 2012)
- Guyana (January 4 to February 7, 2012)
- Guadeloupe (January 7 to February 10, 2012)
- Saint Pierre and Miquelon (from January 18 to February 21, 2012)
- Saint-Barthélemy (May 5 to June 8, 2012)
- Saint-Martin (May 5 to June 8, 2012)
- Reunion (September 1 to October 5, 2012)
