Elegance, class and a view of the Arc de Triomphe at a moderate price

Submitted by on March 12, 2012 – 11:20 amNo Comment

Situated at the Arc de Triomphe, with some rooms actually overlooking the monument, the 3-star Hotel Elysees Ceramic stands in one of the most prestigious districts of Paris. Superbly elegant and stylish, yet, the hotel is very moderately priced for such a prime location. The tree lined Avenue de Wagram is a charming spot, just a few minutes walk from the luxury stores of the Champs-Elysées and rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, the beautiful Parc Monceau and other Paris attractions.

3-star classic Paris boutique hotel Arc de Triomphe

The hotels magnificent Art Nouveau façade, listed as a protected historical site, is decorated with painted ceramic sculptures and stone carvings – its elegance stands out even in such an upscale neighborhood. Inside the hotel a warm and refined lounge area offers a tranquil setting: a combination of marble, wood, antique furniture and a classic design. The reception provides 24-hour service, including fax and photocopying, reservations and tickets, car rental and baby-sitting. There are always international newspapers around and the lounge is a great place to enjoy a relaxing drink – just as the green inner patio, with its floral decoration and trees.

The rooms, ranging from single and double/twin to triple/quadruple family rooms, are very much in tune with the style of the hotel. Decorated in the same Art Nouveau-style, they are equipped with all the luxuries one could need, such as air-conditioning, LCD TV, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, safe, alarm clock. The rooms, some overlooking Avenue de Wagram and the Arc de Triomphe while others the green inner patio, are soundproofed to ensure a good night’s sleep. With rates starting at around 100 euros for a twin/double, Hotel Elysees Ceramic is extremely good value!
